Lakes Region Alternative Fitness

Lakes Region Alternative Fitness is a 2,000 square feet alternative gym designed to create a movement in the Lakes Region. At LRAF, we are home to the area’s only Bungee & Pole Fitness studio and believe that exercise should be fun, empowering, and enjoyable. We have brought together a wide variety of workout classes - We are not your average gym!


Our classes include: Bungee Fitness, Pole Fitness,  Aerial Silks, Yoga, & More. This array of classes are all available to help you find a style of fitness that speaks to you. LRAF strives to empower others to feel confident in their own bodies while enjoying working out in unique ways.

What is Pole Fitness

Pole Fitness is a full-body workout. Through resistance training, dance, and acrobatics, you’re able to become more flexible and feel more confident. Pole Fitness brings your sexy back! 

What is Bungee Fitness

Bungee Fitness is a full body-workout involving cardio and strength training exercises while attached to a harness and bungee cord. The benefits of this type of exercise is that it is a low-impact workout and easy on your joints. These types of workouts are excellent for building muscle and burning stored fat.

What is Aerial Silks:

Aerial silks is a type of performance in which one or more artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a fabric. Performers climb the suspended fabric without the use of safety lines and rely only on their training, strength and skill to ensure safety. They use the fabric to wrap, suspend, drop, swing, and spiral their bodies into and out of various positions.

Meet Mallory

Several years ago I found myself feeling like I was incomplete. There was a deeper passion that I needed to discover. I decided to step WAY out of my comfort zone and attend my very first Pole class. It was in this moment that I realized I found what I was looking for. Pole challenged me in so many ways. It challenged my strength, my flexibility, and even my mentality. I never realized exercising could not only be fun, but you could transform your confidence and body while not even feeling like you’re working out. I became a part of a community that truly empowers every member and I knew from that first class, that it was my mission to bring this same empowering vibe to my local community through an amazing fitness center that offers so much more fun to your exercise routine.
